What Special Foods Did Jesus Actually Eat?

41 Ways toGet ExerciseNaturallyandavoidthe Gym.jpg

A lot of speculation is made about what Jesus would have eaten or what He did eat. By providence, there are many things that we do not need to speculate on, for the Bible tells us. Of course, we will never know all that Christ ate, and some speculations may indeed be true. But for fun, here is a list of foods that we know He ate (or was attempting to eat) according to the Scriptures. Included are the foods recorded in the New Testament in Christ’s incarnation as well as the foods eaten in His Continue reading “What Special Foods Did Jesus Actually Eat?”

Healthy Blood Through Rest: Introduction

In my early twenties, I was experiencing bouts of tachycardia. I went to the doctor for a diagnosis. He noted that yes my heart was functioning in an abnormal manner and suggested about 10 different tests to figure out the cause. He told me that if he could find nothing after the testing, it was probably just stress. I was confused why he didn’t just try to rule out stress first. Why was it at the bottom of the list?

Two Sleepless Nights, a Splitting Headache, and an Important Reminder

Sleeping Woman CouchThis morning I woke up with a splitting headache, but I was thankful for two reasons. First I was able to sleep through most of the  night (after two sleepless ones). Second I was reminded that I need to be a faithful practicer of what I preach.

Super Simple Organic Blender Salsa Recipe

salsa-1048639_1280

I love spicy food. For years I have be-groaned making salsa because it takes so long to chop up all the fresh veges. And besides, my fingers got hot from the peppers.

Then my cousin introduced me to a simple blender recipe. I have changed it just a bit to suit our family. I love to have fun with recipes. So don’t think you have to stick with it 100%. Experimenting is what makes cooking fun and personal. Yes, sometimes there will be flops, but it is worth it. Continue reading “Super Simple Organic Blender Salsa Recipe”

Healthy Blood Through Fasting: Conclusion

Fasting is not only biblical, but it is beneficial to the overall well-being of an individual. In our society, as the food sources become more and more corrupted from their original design, it is necessary to take precautions to properly detoxify the body and heal the overworked digestive glands. In so doing, one will see much improvement in their overall health.

Ginger Cabbage Salad Recipe – Organic, Simple, Delicious

In order to maintain our health, we try to eat a raw salad with every meal. Our salads (almost) never include lettuce, but rather hearty, chopped or grated vegetables. I use a food processor as much as possible to save time. My Black and Decker processor has performed very well for me. It has the capacity to chop, grate, and slice. Without it, I’d spend twice the amount of time in the kitchen making salads.

This Ginger Cabbage Salad is one of my goto recipes because it is simple to make, easy on the budget, and tastes great. In addition, every ingredient in this organic salad is nutritious and life-giving (as should be all the foods we eat).

Ingredients (organic):

Fasting Methods to Heal Your Digestive Glands: Part Two

Portions of that method could easily be implemented in the following plan by Dr. Mercola to acclimate the body slowly and lessen the symptoms commonly associated with fasting (headache, hunger, fatigue, low blood sugar). Could This Simple Trick Solve Your Constipation Problem?

Constipation is one problem most of us have had to deal with at one time or another in our lives. For some (like me) it is a regular struggle. And we all know it is not one of the finer things in life. Could solving the constipation problem be as simple as embracing an ancient technique?

Curried Quinoa and Sweet Potato Recipe – Great for the Harvest Dinner (can be made vegan)

There is something about the marriage of curry and quinoa that makes my heart sing.

Throw some sweet potato into the mix and I can’t help but remember that God is good.

I am so thankful for good, healthy, organic food. Meals and dishes that are so simple to prepare can carry the utils (rewards) of a gourmet meal.
