What Special Foods Did Jesus Actually Eat?

41 Ways toGet ExerciseNaturallyandavoidthe Gym.jpg

A lot of speculation is made about what Jesus would have eaten or what He did eat. By providence, there are many things that we do not need to speculate on, for the Bible tells us. Of course, we will never know all that Christ ate, and some speculations may indeed be true. But for fun, here is a list of foods that we know He ate (or was attempting to eat) according to the Scriptures. Included are the foods recorded in the New Testament in Christ’s incarnation as well as the foods eaten in His Continue reading “What Special Foods Did Jesus Actually Eat?”

Healthy Blood Through Rest: Introduction

In my early twenties, I was experiencing bouts of tachycardia. I went to the doctor for a diagnosis. He noted that yes my heart was functioning in an abnormal manner and suggested about 10 different tests to figure out the cause. He told me that if he could find nothing after the testing, it was probably just stress. I was confused why he didn’t just try to rule out stress first. Why was it at the bottom of the list?

Healthy Blood Through Fasting: Conclusion

Fasting is not only biblical, but it is beneficial to the overall well-being of an individual. In our society, as the food sources become more and more corrupted from their original design, it is necessary to take precautions to properly detoxify the body and heal the overworked digestive glands. In so doing, one will see much improvement in their overall health.

Fasting Methods to Heal Your Digestive Glands: Part Two

intermittent-fasting-highresThe first method of fasting to heal the digestive glands involved working up slowly to a a 36 hour fast. Portions of that method could easily be implemented in the following plan by Dr. Mercola to acclimate the body slowly and lessen the symptoms commonly associated with fasting (headache, hunger, fatigue, low blood sugar). Constipation is one problem most of us have had to deal with at one time or another in our lives. For some (like me) it is a regular struggle. And we all know it is not one of the finer things in life. Could solving the constipation problem be as simple as embracing an ancient technique?

Health Problems Resulting From Toxic Overload

On a previous post we discussed health problems that arise from an overworked digestive system; now we will look at issues that stem from toxic overload.

When toxins are stored in the tissues, regardless if they come from outside the body or from inside the body, they irritate the tissues causing a malfunction that leads to a variety of symptoms. Continue reading “Health Problems Resulting From Toxic Overload”

7 Big PROBLEMS Caused by a Fatigued DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

One of the first signs that our cells are not being fed or nourished properly is a drop in our energy levels. We become tired easily and earlier in the day. Soon other symptoms start to occur. These early symptoms are little signs our bodies give us as warnings. Often our bodies warn us over and over again until finally illness sets in – and then disease. This is when the average person begins to realize something is wrong and takes notice.

How We Properly Detoxify The Body

detoxDuring the first three hours after a meal is eaten, the body uses 60% of its available energy to aid in digestion. When the body does not receive food for a period of time, it frees up that 60% energy to concentrate on other physiologic processes that it otherwise would not have the energy to sustain, such as ridding the body of metabolic wastes and toxins, which is a priority for the body. Put simply, when we Continue reading “How We Properly Detoxify The Body”
