Laurette Willis Creates PraiseMoves as The Christian Alternative to Yoga

“PraiseMoves is…the Christian alternative to yoga. And I’m always careful to let people know: it’s not Christian yoga. I call that an oxymoron or a contradiction in terms. It’s like someone saying they’re a Christian Buddhist or a Christian Hindu — there’s no such thing.” If you have not read why Willis says “Christian Yoga Is An Oxymoron,” you can do so now.

"Yoga Is The Missionary Arm of Hinduism" Claims Expert, Laurette Willis

According to Laurette Willis, founder of PraiseMoves, “Yoga is the missionary arm of Hinduism and the New Age movement.”

And this is not her own opinion, but what Hindu practitioners have claimed since at least 1991. Swami Sivasiva Palani warns Christians, “A small army of yoga missionaries – hatha, raja, siddha and kundalini – beautifully trained in the last 10 years, is about to set upon the western world. They may not call themselves Hindu, but Hindus know where yoga came from and where it goes.”

“Christian Yoga is An Oxymoron” Reveals Expert, Laurette Willis

“I sensed the…time would come, and that time is now, when people would be so deceived that they thought yoga was just exercise.” But, according to Willis, the very definition of yoga reveals that yoga is not just exercise. Yoga is a form of worship to one of 330 million Hindu deities. And, she claims, it is the missionary arm of Hinduism, promotes salvation by works, and is designed to prepare its practitioners for death and entrance into a new life through reincarnation.
