I promised here that my posts might be a little different due to a move. And I am trying to deliver on my promise. I do not have a daily journal to share with you this month — so I will share a few of my tweets.
You may also notice that there are some gaps in my chart. That is due to two events — which I overcame. My daughter visited for a week — and we got the unexpected news that our landlords wanted to sell the house in which we were living. I packed up my scale. That was hard to do.
Surviving the move was pretty tough on my eating schedule too. When all your pots and pans are packed up and you’re packing/cleaning from dawn to dusk — at the end of the day, it is hard to resist those biscuits at Cracker Barrel. But I did resist the Ice Cream Berry Cobbler — mostly because I didn’t enjoy it much after a couple bites. Part of my weight loss plan is to only eat the foods I really love. That is what keeps me going on my weight loss journey without feeling like I am on a restrictive diet. And it is working, slow and steady.

Thanks for the post. You’re very brave to put it the weight loss in a chart. I tend to go back and forth. A chart would be tough on my ego.
It keeps me accountable, and hopefully encourages others with the reality that weight loss involves ups and downs, just like a stock chart. The overall trend is what matters. 😃
Thank you Mischelle! I also broke through to the 150’s this month 😀 It does go up and down. Instead of reaching my goal of 155, my last weigh in was 159. But at least it’s heading in the right direction. I am housesitting for my daughter in July, and I walk her two 100lb German Shepherds twice a day. Also, lots of fresh food from the Farmer’s Market. Your post inspired me. Thank you! <3
Congratulations! And yes! You are headed in the right direction. I was hoping to hit 155 too! But I know it is coming — if I persevere. Thanks for sharing!
