The American Public Health Association reports that the ph level of naturally occurring water is between 6.5 and 8.5 ph. A ph of 7 is considered neutral, below seven is acidic, and above seven is alkaline. [4] The World Health Organization reports that water with too low a ph or too high a ph can cause health conditions affecting the eyes, skin, and gastrointestinal system. Yes! Suffering can be for our testing and/or instruction. We can see the biblical evidence to support this idea in the suffering of Job and the thorn in Paul’s flesh.
